Women’s Basketball Triumphs in Nail-Biter Against Passaic County Community College
Paramus, NJ – Bergen Community College Women's Basketball team clinched a thrilling 57-54 victory over Passaic County Community College in a hard-fought matchup held at the Bergen Bulldogs' home court.
The game showcased the Bulldogs' resilience and teamwork, with standout performances from key players. Freshman Ashly Urquia led the charge with an impressive 20 points, including three clutch three-pointers, and contributed seven rebounds. Jacqueline Caraballo added a double-double to her record with 12 points and 10 rebounds, while Ariana Garo dominated the boards with 12 rebounds and added seven points to the tally.
The game was tied after the first quarter at 17 points each, and both teams displayed relentless defense throughout the game. Bergen entered the final quarter trailing by one but surged ahead with a determined 21-point fourth-quarter performance to seal the win.
